RISO - R, s.r.o. was established in 2005 and it is continuing the tradition of a canning factory in Rimavská Sobota, which was established in 1902. Today, it operates as a family company with a two-generation family representation in top management. A responsible management approach, a simple organizational structure and a stable team of experienced and qualified employees contribute to the long-term competitiveness and viability of the company.
Nowadays RISO - R, s.r.o. produces jams, damson cheese and fruit spreads and it is the only producer of such products in Slovakia.
The products are manufactured in various consumer packagings to best meet the requirements of all customers. Besides processing traditional types of fruits it also processes less known ones to provide the market with some original products.

The company has HACCP system for compliance with good manufacturing practice. Since 2017, it has a valid IFS certificate SK 17/2614, version 6.1, November 2017. The certificate is recertified by the SGS certification company on an annual basis.
